November Meetings

Our Rose City Quilters' Club meeting for this month is Monday 27th November.

Doors open at 7pm - Meeting starts at 7.30pm
Visitors welcome - $3 at the door
This is our Christmas Meeting. Last of the year.
Please bring your Show and Tell of completed UFOs challenge. You can enter as many as you wish but you need to be prepared to tell us a little about the history of each quilt. There will be prizes and the committee will be the judges (no correspondence to be entered into). We will have some fun categories, which may include best story, oldest, funniest, most UFO’s completed...
We are also giving to Starlight again this year. Starlight's aim is to bring joy and hope to mental health patients. They want them to know that their community cares about them. Gifts are distributed to Ward 21 patients at Palmerston North Hospital and Community mental health patients i.e. via Crisis Team, Community Mental Health Centre, MASH.  - details of suitable gifts may be found in last November's post HERE.

2017 Tote & Gloat challenge prize winners

We had another great Tote & Gloat show on Saturday. This year we had two Challenges for RCQ members. The description of the challenge is followed by the winners in each category.

Open Challenge : Circles :  Use your imagination to come up with a quilt for this challenge. It can be any shape to fit within a 1.5m x 1.5m square.
